Scorer handout

Send this with your scorer link. It is written to read on a phone.

You enter match scores. That is all the page does: you don't need to sign in, and you can't change anything else.

Open it

1. Open the link the operator sent you (or scan its QR code).
2. The page remembers the link, so you can close it and come back later. A newer link replaces an older one.

Your link works for one day, at every venue that day, for 24 hours from when it was made. The page shows who the link was issued to, and every score you save is recorded under that name, so don't pass the link on.

Pick your venue

If the day has more than one venue, the page asks Which venue are you at? Tap yours. You can switch any time from the buttons at the top. The line under the page name says which venue you are scoring.

Find a match

• Type a match number (42 or #42), a team code, a team name or a player's name in the search box.
• Tap a court button to see only that court, or All courts.
• Hide scored is on, so you only see matches still waiting for a score. Above the list, a line reads 7 of 24 scored.

A card that says To be decided has players that aren't known yet. Wait.

Enter a score

1. Tap the match.
2. Enter both scores. Side 1 is on the left, in the same order as the sheet. Each score is up to two digits. Press Enter after the second score to go to Review.
3. Review. The winner is named in big text above the score. If it names the wrong side, go back: you typed the scores against the wrong sides.
4. Save.

To fix a score, tap the match again, change it and save. To remove one, tap Clear score.

What the messages mean

Message	What to do
Ask the operator for a scorer link.	This phone has no scorer link. Open the link again.
This scorer link has expired.	Ask the operator for a new link.
Scorer links are stopped for this event.	The operator has paused scoring. Wait, then reload.
The sheet changed	Someone else scored this match. Choose Keep the sheet's score or Replace with yours.
A message that the link is for another day	You have another day's link. Ask for today's.
The score reached the sheet but could not be published	Tell the operator. They will resync.

When in doubt, ask the operator.
